Italy Cheapest Car Rental
Italy is an excellent driving destination. It is home to magnificent cities, world-renowned culture, diverse regions, and breathtaking natural beauty. Having your own vehicle allows you to travel both the north and south, as well as the capital Rome, which is located in the center.
Main criteria for a driver's license
- Foreign driver's licenses are accepted in Italy if they are written in the Latin alphabet and you are traveling for less than six months.
- If you are visiting Italy for an extended period of time or if you are a permanent resident of Italy, you must obtain a local driver's license.
- If your driver's license is written in a different alphabet (for example, Cyrillic or Arabic), you must obtain an International Driving Permit (IDP).
- Even if you have an IDP, you must still produce a valid driver's license from your home country.
- You must always carry your driver's license, not a duplicate, with you.
- You must have held a valid driver's license for at least two years.
- Some vehicle rental companies impose a young driver cost for drivers aged 22 to 25, and a senior driver price for drivers over the age of 65.
- Additional restrictions may apply depending on the car provider and category, so make sure to read the terms and conditions before making a reservation.
