Madrid Airport has four terminals, with automobile rental firms located in terminals 1 and 4. Car rental companies in Terminal 1 include Hertz, Aresmobile-Aero City, Avis, Enterprise, Atesa, Europcar, and Sixt. The vehicle rental desks are on floor 0 in the arrivals area.

Hertz and Aresmobile-Aero City are on floor 0 of Terminal 4, while Avis, Enterprise, Atesa, Europcar, Hertz, Budget, and Sixt are all on level 1.

There are two Respol servicing stations on airport premises, one serving Terminals 1, 2, and 3, and the other serving Terminal 4. Both are open 24 hours a day and are positioned on the approach to the respective terminals.

If you are traveling to Terminal 1, there is a Campsa Service Station directly across the street from the terminal that you may reach after exiting the M-14.

The region surrounding Madrid Airport is well-developed, and it is only 12 kilometers from the city of Madrid. The M50 ring road, the M40, which takes you around the outskirts of Madrid, the M11, A1 and A2 are all easily accessible from the airport.

The M12 runs beside Terminal 4 and provides convenient, direct access for anyone driving to the terminal; however, this is a toll road, and toll costs must be paid to use it.
