Parking and traffic advice

The speed limit throughout the city is 50 km/h, however it may be decreased to 30 km/h in some locations. Unlike intercity routes, the urban speed limit is not reduced during inclement weather.

Outside of the city, the speed limit is determined by the kind of route. Highways have a speed limit of 130 km/h, four-lane expressways have a speed limit of 110 km/h, and two or three-lane roads have a speed limit of 90 km/h. When it rains, the speed limits are reduced to 110 km/h, 100 km/h, and 80 km/h, accordingly. During severe fog or other periods of poor visibility, the general speed restriction is reduced to 50 km/h.

When you drive, you must have your insurance and automobile documents with you.
